Privacy policy

RemoteRise is built so you can browse jobs and read guides without handing over personal data. This page explains exactly what we do and do not collect.

What we collect

When you submit a contact form or an "apply via RemoteRise" form, we collect only the fields you fill in: name, email, optional country, and the message text. We use those fields solely to deliver your message to the intended recipient (RemoteRise editorial, or the employer named on the listing). We do not enrich, sell, or share that data with third parties.

What we do not collect

RemoteRise does not require an account to browse. We do not run third-party tracking scripts that build advertising profiles of you, and we do not sell any personal information to data brokers. Display advertising on the site is delivered through industry-standard ad networks; you can disable personalised advertising through your browser or operating-system privacy settings.

Cookies

The site uses a small number of strictly functional cookies (preference storage, ad-network compliance signals). We do not set additional analytics cookies for tracking purposes. If we ever start using analytics, we will update this page first.

Server logs

Like most web servers, our hosting platform records standard access logs (timestamp, IP address, requested path, response code). These logs are kept only for short-term operational use — debugging errors and protecting against abusive traffic — and are not used for marketing.

Children's privacy

RemoteRise is intended for adults seeking remote work. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

If you are in a region with formal data-protection laws (EU, UK, California, Brazil, and others), you have the right to ask what we hold about you, request a copy, request deletion, and request that we stop processing your data. Email hello@remoteladder.com with your request and we will reply within the timeframe required by your local law.

Updates to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change, and we will note the date of the most recent revision at the bottom. Continuing to use the site after a change indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
